My story

Hi! My name is Ducky and I am a 2 year old German Shepherd/Malinois mix weighing 70 lbs. I’m a sweet but slightly shy guy who’s still building my confidence. I was found as a stray with another dog (they’ve since been adopted), and I did well with my buddy around. I’ve been friendly with staff here and really enjoy getting attention, especially when it comes with a good brushing!Fun Facts:- Big fan of attention and gentle affection - Enjoy being brushed (spa day, anyone?) - I love cooling off with a dip in the pool!Looking For: A patient, understanding home that can help me with basic training and continue building my confidence. I’d love someone who will give me time to come out of my shell and be my best self.

If you have any questions or would like to adopt DUCKY, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
