My story

QUICK FACTS Name: Teddy Age: 2 years old Gender: Male (Neutered) Breed: Jindo Retriever mix Color: Brown, White Weight: 20kg / 44lbs Microchipped, Fully Vaccinated Up to Date, Dewormed   MY RESCUE STORY I was rescued from a crowded city pound, where I was quickly placed on the euthanasia list simply due to lack of space. Thankfully, kind-hearted rescuers saw me just in time and gave me a second chance at life. Those difficult days are now behind me, and I’m ready to begin a beautiful new chapter with a loving forever family who will cherish me and give me the life I’ve always deserved.   MY HEALTH All vaccinations up-to-date Neutered & healthy with no known health issues   MY PERSONALITY I have the cutest smile and the fluffiest coat—people say I look just like a little teddy bear, which is how I got my name! I’m a super sweet boy with a calm, gentle nature. I’m not sure what my life was like before I was rescued, but one thing is certain—I truly love people. I enjoy being close by your side, soaking up attention, pets, and quiet moments together.   MY SOCIAL SKILLS · With People: I absolutely love people and truly light up when I get to meet someone new! I enjoy greeting everyone with a gentle, happy energy and happily soak up all the pets and affection I can get. I allow myself to be picked up and enjoy being close to my people. I naturally like to stay by your side and follow you around like your little shadow, always wanting to be near you and part of your day. · With Dogs: I enjoy greeting new dogs and saying hello, but I usually prefer to do my own thing afterwards. I get along well with the dogs at the care facility, especially those who are calm and similar in size to me. I’m more of a people-focused pup and truly enjoy human companionship the most. High-energy dogs can feel a bit overwhelming for me, but I’m a gentle peacekeeper—I tend to avoid conflict and simply walk away if another dog is being too pushy. · With Cats: My reaction to cats is unknown. A cat test can be arranged upon request to ensure the best fit.   ENERGY LEVEL & ACTIVITY I have a moderate energy level and enjoy a nice balance in my day. I like spending time outdoors exploring and soaking up the sunshine, but once I’ve had my fill, I’m more than happy to come inside and snuggle up. I’m overall a mellow, calm boy who enjoys both gentle adventures and quiet companionship.   TRAINING & HABITS I can get a little excited and pull on the leash at times, but overall I follow my handler’s lead nicely and walk well. I have great manners around food and don’t guard my meals from people or other dogs. I’m a very quiet boy who rarely barks and has a calm, gentle presence. I rest nicely in my kennel and settle down well. For my potty routine, I can use both indoor pee pads and go outdoors. In new environments, I may mark a little at first, but I adjust quickly and settle into a routine.   MY IDEAL HOME I’m searching for a patient, loving family who can help me become the best version of myself. I’ll thrive in a home with: • A family that will provide me with a safe haven – where I can decompress, be myself in a stable environment • A family that understands my past and is patient with me throughout • A family that enjoys indoor and outdoor time together • A family that will love and cherish me forever • Ideally the only dog at home so I can receive all the attention and affection from my family   SPECIAL NOTES I get praised every day for how sweet and gentle I am—everyone I meet can’t help but notice my loving nature. I truly thrive on human companionship and love being close to my people, soaking up all the affection and connection. I know my forever family is out there waiting for me, and when I find them, I’ll be the most loyal, devoted companion by your side.    Teddy's Youtube Playlist   Apply to foster or adopt: https://www.welcomedogkorea.org For Inquiries: info@welcomedogkorea.com ##2687998##
