QUICK FACTS Name: Terra Age: 4 years old Gender: Female (Spaying to be scheduled) Breed: Jindo mix Color: Brown, White, Black Weight: 18kg / 40lbs Microchipped, Fully Vaccinated Up to Date, Dewormed   MY RESCUE STORY I was rescued from a crowded city pound, where I was placed on the euthanasia list simply due to lack of space. Thankfully, kind-hearted rescuers found me just in time and gave me a second chance at life. Those difficult days are now behind me, and I’m ready to start a new chapter with a loving forever family who will cherish me and give me the life I deserve. MY HEALTH All vaccinations up-to-date Spaying to be scheduled soon. Healthy with no known health issues   MY PERSONALITY I’m a super sweet and affectionate girl who loves both people and dogs! When I meet someone new, I greet you like we’ve known each other forever—coming right in for snuggles and affection. One of my favorite things is burying my face in your arms while you give me lots of pets. I also love playing with my toys and truly just enjoy being around people.   MY SOCIAL SKILLS · With People: I absolutely love people! I’ll happily show my belly even when meeting you for the first time, and I truly crave human attention and affection. I’m a happy-go-lucky girl who believes everyone I meet is a new friend, and I love spreading my joyful, loving energy wherever I go. · With Dogs: I love my dog friends as well! I love meeting new dog friends and playing with them. Even if another dog is being pushy and rude, I will calmly step away. Due to my overly friendly personality, I can be a bit pushy at times and come off a bit too strong to some dogs where it might not be interpreted the best way so I will need continued guidance so I learn to socialize better. · With Cats: My reaction to cats is unknown. A cat test can be arranged upon request to ensure the best fit.   ENERGY LEVEL & ACTIVITY I have a moderate energy level and enjoy a nice balance in my day. I love spending time outdoors playing and running around, but after I’ve had my fun, I’m more than happy to settle down and enjoy a peaceful nap.   TRAINING & HABITS I can get a little excited and pull on the leash at times, especially at the start of walks, but I settle down nicely and follow my handler well. I have good manners around food and don’t guard my meals from people or other dogs. I may bark occasionally when I’m looking for attention, but I calm down quickly once I’m settled. I rest well in my kennel and know how to relax. For my potty routine, I can use both indoor pee pads and go outdoors. When I’m excited, I might get a case of the zoomies and bring lots of playful energy! Because of that enthusiasm, I can sometimes come off a bit strong with other dogs, but with continued guidance, I’ll learn to channel my excitement into polite social interactions.   MY IDEAL HOME I’m searching for a patient, loving family who can help me become the best version of myself. I’ll thrive in a home with: • A family that will provide me with a safe haven – where I can decompress, be myself in a stable environment • A family that understands my past and is patient with me throughout • A family that enjoys indoor and outdoor time together • A family that will love and cherish me forever • A family that understands that can be patient with me and continue with my basic obedience training and socialization training   SPECIAL NOTES I have so much potential in me! I’m a happy-go-lucky girl who loves both people and my dog friends. I’m also a resilient girl who adapts quickly, and with my forever family, I know I’ll settle in and thrive in no time.
