My story

Gnert entered my life last year because my partner and I are out of the house a lot, and we thought it was perfect for our cat, so he would have a friend. We got Gnert when he was 1 and adopted him from the SPCA. Before this, Gnert lived in Western North Carolina in a house with 28 other cats. When hurricane Helene hit his family, I guess he just couldnt take care of all the cats, and brought him to the SPCA. When I met him, I immediately knew I wanted him in my family, so I took him home. Sadly, I no longer have the resources to take care of him. The only issue is that he is too lazy to use the litter box. After trial and error, we can't afford the mess he is making, and we just don't know what to do. Im looking for someone who has the time and the resources to care for him and help him because we can't. Its not fair for him, and its not fair to me. He is such a sweet boy, and if you give him love, it goes a long way with him, and he definitely deserves it.

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Lieutenant Gnert Dandruff, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
