My story

QUICK FACTS Name: Youngil Age: About 3 Years Old Gender: Male (Neutered) Breed: Labrador – Samoyed Mix Color: Ivory Weight: 22kg / 48.5lbs Microchipped, Fully Vaccinated Up to Date, Dewormed   MY RESCUE STORY I was rescued during the Yeongdeok wildfire. Now I’m safe and ready to start a new chapter, hoping to find a loving family to call my own.   MY HEALTH All vaccinations up-to-date Neutered & healthy with no known health issues   MY PERSONALITY I’m a gentle and calm dog who enjoys taking life at a relaxed pace. When we first meet, I may be a little shy and step back. But I usually stay nearby, curiously observing and slowly gathering the courage to come closer. With a little time and patience, my cautious side fades and my affectionate, gentle personality comes out. I’m a dog who warms up quickly and becomes a sweet, loyal companion once I feel comfortable. If you’re looking for a calm and kind-hearted friend who will quietly share life by your side, I might be the perfect match for you.   MY SOCIAL SKILLS · With People: I might be a bit shy when we first meet. But if you offer me a tasty treat, I’ll happily take it and warm up to you quickly. Before long, we’ll be friends and you’ll be able to hold me and pet me too! I haven’t had the chance to meet children under 13 yet. · With Dogs: When I meet a new friend, I like to walk up and say hello. I’m friendly and curious, but I like to take things slow at my pace. If another dog provokes me, I stand my ground. With calm and respectful introductions, I can do well around other friends. · With Cats: My reaction to cats is unknown   ENERGY LEVEL & ACTIVITY I have moderate energy level – I enjoy outdoor activities like walks and exploring, and I’m always happy to spend time outside with my person. After some fun outside, I’m also very good at settling down and resting quietly at home. I have a nice balance between playtime and relaxation! I have lots of experience going on walks, so I’m a very polite walking companion. I don’t pull on the leash, and I follow my person nicely. I really enjoy strolling by your side and exploring the world together.   TRAINING & HABITS I don’t guard my food from people at all. But if another dog comes too close while I’m eating, I might give a little growl to say, “This is my food.”Sometimes when I want something — like attention, treats, or playtime — I might bark to let you know. I may also bark when I see a stranger. When I’m placed in a kennel, I stay calm and settle down nicely.I’m comfortable using both indoor pee pads and going potty outside. If I visit a new place, I might feel the urge to mark at first. With guidance and consistency, I can learn the house rules.   MY IDEAL HOME I’m searching for a patient, loving family who can help me become the best version of myself. I’ll thrive in a home with: A family that will provide me with a safe haven – where I can decompress, be myself in a stable environment A family that understands my past and is patient with me throughout A family that enjoys indoor and outdoor time together A family that will love and cherish me forever    Youngil's Youtube Playlist   Apply to foster or adopt: https://www.welcomedogkorea.org For Inquiries: info@welcomedogkorea.com ##2684212##
