I’m now safe and excited to start a new chapter of my life with my forever family!   MY HEALTH All vaccinations up-to-date Neutered & healthy with no known health issues   MY PERSONALITY Hi, I’m Dahlia, a sweet and affectionate girl with a heart full of love. I have a beautiful black coat, and sometimes my cute face doesn’t stand out right away—but those who meet me quickly discover how truly lovely I am. I absolutely adore people and love showing affection. I’ll cuddle, follow you around, and shower you with endless charm. I love staying close by your side. I’m friendly even with people I meet for the first time, and my kind personality makes me a joy to be around. Many say I’m the perfect companion—beautiful, sweet, and full of love. All I need now is a forever family who will see how special I truly am.   MY SOCIAL SKILLS · With People: I love being around people! Not only with people I know — I’ll happily walk up to new friends, rub against them, and let them hold me and pet me. Once we become close, I’ll roll over and show you my belly — that’s my way of saying I feel safe and love you. I haven’t had the chance to meet children under 13 yet, but with my loving personality, I think I’ll get along great with them. · With Dogs: I like walking up to both familiar dogs and new friends to say hello and invite them to play. I’m friendly with dogs of all sizes — bigger dogs, dogs around my size, and even smaller pups. When another dog tries to provoke me, I usually prefer to walk away instead of getting into trouble. I like keeping things calm and friendly. · With Cats: My reaction to cats is unknown   ENERGY LEVEL & ACTIVITY I have moderate energy level – I enjoy outdoor activities like walks and exploring, and I’m always happy to spend time outside. After some fun outdoor time, I’m also very good at settling down and resting quietly at home. I have a nice balance between playtime and relaxation. I have lots of experience going on walks, so I’m a very polite walking companion. I don’t pull on the leash and I follow my person nicely. I love calm, enjoyable walks where I can stay right by your side and explore the world together.     TRAINING & HABITS I don’t guard my food from people. But if another dog comes too close while I’m eating, I might give a little growl to say, “This is my food.”Sometimes when I want something — like attention, treats, or playtime — I might bark to let you know.When I’m placed in a kennel, I stay calm and settle down nicely.I’m mostly used to going potty outside.   MY IDEAL HOME I’m searching for a patient, loving family who can help me become the best version of myself.
