My story

Gentle Grey Cat Seeking a Loving, Low‑Stress Home Meet Nicodemus, a handsome grey sweetheart who adores children and is wonderfully affectionate with adults. He’s a sensitive soul—shy, easily startled, and overwhelmed by dominant pets. He does well with calm female cats but struggles with male cats and isn’t fond of dogs. Nicodemus can be a bit pushy in his quest for human affection, but always in a sweet, attention‑seeking way. He just wants to feel safe, included, and loved. If you’re looking for a gentle, family‑friendly companion who thrives on kindness and connection, Nicodemus could be the perfect match. Nicodemus came to us as part of a litter we took in during COVID when shelters were full. He has never been fully at ease with the male cat already in the home, and as he nears his sixth birthday we would like to find him a calmer home where he can fully relax and receive the dedicated love and attention he deserves.
