QUICK FACTS Name: Ceci Age: 4 months old Gender: Female (Spaying to be scheduled) Breed: Shiba mix Color: Brown, White Weight: 4kg / 8.8lbs Microchipped, Fully Vaccinated Up to Date, Dewormed   MY RESCUE STORY I was rescued from a crowded city pound. I’m not sure what my life was like before that, but even though I was just a young puppy, I was placed on the euthanasia list due to lack of space. Thankfully, kind rescuers saw me and stepped in just in time to save me. Now those uncertain days are behind me, and I’m ready to begin a brand-new chapter with a loving forever family who will cherish me and help me grow into the amazing companion I’m meant to be.   MY HEALTH All vaccinations up-to-date Neutering to be scheduled   MY PERSONALITY I’m a sweet young pup who’s full of curiosity about the world around me. Everything is new and exciting, and I’m learning a little more every day. I’m even cuter in person — photos and videos simply don’t do justice to how handsome I really am! Staff and volunteers are always telling me what a pretty boy I am, and I happily soak up all the compliments. I have a bright, gentle spirit and can’t wait to share it with my forever family.     MY SOCIAL SKILLS · With People: I’m very friendly with people and love approaching them with curiosity. I enjoy receiving pets and tasty treats, and being close to humans makes me really happy. During my profile photoshoot, I happily climbed into the laps of staff and volunteers, soaking up all the attention and affection I could get. · With Dogs: I love greeting new dog friends and playing with them! Playtime is one of my absolute favorite parts of the day. I enjoy running around, having fun, and making new canine friends whenever I get the chance. It’s always such a happy moment for me! · With Cats: My full reaction to cats is unknown. When I see cats during walks, I bark at them a little bit out of curiosity. A cat test can be arranged upon request to ensure the best fit.   ENERGY LEVEL & ACTIVITY I have a moderate energy level and enjoy a wonderful balance of activity and relaxation. I love exploring my surroundings, taking in new scents, and soaking up the sunshine during my outdoor time. After a nice walk or a bit of adventure, I’m more than happy to come inside, relax, and snuggle up for some cozy downtime.   TRAINING & HABITS I’m still working on my leash manners, but I’m improving day by day and learning quickly. I don’t guard my food from people, though I can be a little sensitive if other dogs come too close during mealtime. I’m generally a quiet pup, but I might bark occasionally when I’m hoping for a little extra attention. I know how to rest calmly in my kennel and am comfortable using both indoor pee pads and going potty outdoors. Like a typical puppy, I have my fun bursts of energy — sometimes I get the zoomies and run around with excitement — and then I happily settle down for a cozy nap afterwards.   MY IDEAL HOME I’m searching for a patient, loving family who can help me become the best version of myself. I’ll thrive in a home with: • A family that will provide me with a safe haven – where I can decompress, be myself in a stable environment • A family that understands my past and is patient with me throughout • A family that enjoys indoor and outdoor time together • A family that will love and cherish me forever • A family that understands I’m still a young pup and will need continued guidance in socialization and basic obedience training • A family that is understanding of my love for food and willing to guide me so I can learn to be more patient when other dogs are nearby   SPECIAL NOTES I’m a sweet boy with a soft heart and so much love to give. I’m friendly and curious about the world around me, always eager to explore and learn new things. I have a warm and loving nature, and I truly enjoy being close to people and playing with my dog friends.
