My story

***Currently located Downey, CA*** Aloha, my name is Sassy, and I’m looking for my furever home! Not long ago, I was running free in a community where kind people looked out for me and made sure I was fed. Life on the streets wasn’t easy, and during that time I became pregnant and gave birth to eight beautiful puppies—five girls and three boys. That was a lot of little mouths to feed, and I did my very best. Thankfully, a very kind lady stepped in to help keep us safe and fed while I cared for my babies. When my puppies were about seven weeks old, another wonderful lady helped find a foster home for all of us. That’s when our lives really changed. With colder weather and rain coming, moving indoors was such a blessing. Now we’re living in a warm, cozy home where we sleep inside and go outdoors to play and run around. I especially love laying in the sun . We all went to the vet, and I was told we’re healthy—my foster mom said I was very well-behaved! I’m fully vaccinated, and my puppies have had their well-baby checkups and first round of vaccines. We’re all getting ready for our next chapter: our furever homes. Living in a home has helped me discover so many things I love. I enjoy going for walks, sniffari adventures, playing fetch, getting pets and belly rubs, and spending quality time with my human. I’m learning just how wonderful it feels to belong. I hope I’m lucky enough to meet you—we just might be the perfect match.
