My story

Meet Perseus, a handsome 2-year-old black and brown tabby with a strong, independent spirit and a heart that shines! Perseus is a thoughtful and observant boy who likes to take his time getting to know new people and surroundings.Perseus would thrive in a calm, cat-savvy home that understands feline body language and respects his boundaries. He’s not the type to rush into new friendships, but once he gets to know you, he enjoys companionship on his own terms and may even seek out gentle pets and quiet time by your side. Because of his sensitive nature, Perseus would do best in an adults-only home or with children over 12 years old who can interact with him respectfully. A peaceful environment where he can settle in at his own pace will help him truly flourish!If you’re an experienced cat owner looking for a rewarding companion and are willing to give Perseus the time he needs to feel at home, you’ll be gaining a devoted and quietly loving friend for life!This pet is eligible for an Adoption Audition! What is an Adoption Audition? It’s a 5-day, no-strings-attached, trial adoption period. You can take this pet home to try it out! Interested? Come to the shelter any time during open hours and talk to one of our Customer Care staff!Be sure to check the `shelter information` box on the listing to see if the pet is located at our Fairfax Campus (4500 West Ox Road, Fairfax) or our Lorton Campus (8875 Lorton Road, Lorton). Then, come in during our open hours!
