My story

Tag is a gentle chihuahua mix with a big heart and a love for cozy, quiet moments. He can be anxious in new situations and appreciates a slow, patient approach as he gets to know you. Once he feels safe, his affectionate, people‑oriented side comes forward—he’s very much a couch‑potato companion who enjoys soft attention and staying close. He’s friendly with other dogs and does well around calm canine companions. His history with cats is unknown. Because he can be nervous with fast movements or unfamiliar environments, Tag is best suited for a home with teens (13+) who understand how to go slow and help him feel secure. Food and treats are great motivators for him and a helpful tool as he builds confidence. Tag also has a genetic condition that affects vision in his left eye. He has been fully evaluated by a veterinarian, and there are no current concerns—it simply means he may be a little cautious at first while navigating new spaces.
