Gertrude 's Story Meet Gertrude! 🐾 Gertrude is a sweet 7-year-old American Bulldog weighing about 80 pounds, and she’s ready to find a loving home to call her own. Through no fault of her own, Gertrude was surrendered when her owner’s living situation changed. Despite the big transition, she has remained the affectionate, gentle girl everyone loves. Gertrude absolutely adores people and thrives on attention. She’s the kind of dog who will happily lean in for pets, follow you around the house, and keep you company while you relax. She’s also housetrained, making the transition into her new home even easier. One of Gertrude’s best qualities is how well she gets along with others. She does great with other dogs, cats, farm animals, and children, making her a wonderful candidate for many different types of families. At 7 years old, Gertrude has the perfect balance of maturity and personality. She still enjoys spending time with her people but also knows how to settle in and relax.
