My story

Meet Gia Gia is an 8-month-old Staffy mix with the sweetest eyes and a heart that’s still learning what it means to feel safe. For most of her short life, Gia lived outside — through the scorching heat of summer and the bitter cold of winter. While other puppies were curled up on couches, Gia was simply surviving. And yet… she is still so full of love. Gia does well with male dogs and warms up beautifully to adults once she knows she’s safe. That’s the key with Gia — safety. Consistency. Patience. She needs a family who understands that her cautious moments aren’t flaws… they’re reminders of what she’s been through. She is not “broken.”She is brave. Gia needs a home that will move at her pace, celebrate her small victories, and show her that she never has to face another storm alone. A family who will give her the time and understanding she deserves — and in return, she will give a loyalty and love that only a resilient soul like hers can offer.
