My story

Milo is a charming little dog with a big personality and an even bigger heart just waiting to find his special person. At approximately 3 years old, he’s an energetic and affectionate companion who thrives on connection with the people he trusts. When Milo first meets new people, he can be a little unsure and may bark to let you know he’s keeping watch. With a bit of patience and kindness, however, his true personality quickly shines through. Once Milo decides you are his person, he forms a strong bond and becomes a devoted companion who wants to follow you around, cuddle close, and be part of whatever you’re doing.Milo would likely do best as the only pet in the home, where he can enjoy being the centre of attention. He has a lot of love to give and will flourish in a home where he can build a close relationship with his human. This little guy has plenty of energy and would love a home with a securely fenced yard where he can safely run and play. Milo especially enjoys chasing his favourite rubber squeaky toys and happily plays fetch, proudly bringing them back for another round. Daily walks and time outside exploring are also highlights of his routine.Milo has spent time with young children and has done well playing with a four-year-old who enjoys walking him and tossing toys for him. As with any dog, respectful interactions and supervision are always important. He’s currently settling into his house-training routine and does best when taken outside first thing in the morning and given regular opportunities for walks throughout the day.Milo is a smart boy who is eager to learn and would do well continuing his training with a patient and consistent adopter. A few of Milo’s favourite things include freeze-dried liver treats, tiny Greenies, and lots of playtime with squeaky toys. Stuffed toys don’t really interest him, but give him a rubber squeaker and he’s ready for a game. Because Milo can be curious and likes to chase cars, he is considered a flight risk, so a secure yard and attentive leash handling will be important to keep him safe.Milo’s ideal home would be with someone who is home most of the time and enjoys an active routine. With the right person, Milo’s affectionate and loyal nature truly shines. For someone looking for a bright, playful companion who will form a special bond with his person, Milo could be a wonderful match.??????Please note that due to the high volume of applications our volunteers

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Milo, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
