My story

Emily is a 2-year-old female Chi/Dachshund mix with a gentle heart and the sweetest little face you’ve ever seen. This adorable girl was rescued from the county shelter and is now safe and thriving in a loving foster home through Carrie On Rescue, where her personality has truly begun to shine. Emily is a sweet, gentle soul who enjoys the quiet comforts of home. She does wonderfully with the other small dogs in her foster home and would likely enjoy a calm canine companion. While she can be a little shy when first meeting men, she warms up with patience and kindness and soon shows her affectionate side. This good girl already has great house manners—Emily is both house trained and crate trained, making her an easy addition to the right home. She’s happiest in a calm, loving environment where she can relax, feel safe, and be the cherished little companion she was meant to be. Emily has received a full veterinary check and is spayed, microchipped, current on vaccinations, and licensed. She’s healthy, ready, and waiting for a forever family who will love and spoil her as much as she deserves. With her adorable looks and tender personality, Emily is sure to steal your heart.
