My story

About Eleanor:Eleanor is a young husky mix and one seriously smart cookie. This lovely girl already knows an impressive list of commands including sit, lay down, wait, leave it, and paw, and we’re pretty sure she has a few more tricks up her sleeve. She’s attentive, eager to please, and clearly enjoys learning and working with her people. Eleanor has a bright, happy personality and brings a great mix of intelligence and sweetness to every interaction.Ideal Home:Eleanor would do well in a home that enjoys an active, engaged dog who likes to learn and be involved in daily life. She would likely thrive with someone who enjoys training, walks, and spending time working with their dog. Eleanor has shown no reaction to cats or other dogs here, though slow and thoughtful introductions are always recommended.Training and Skills:Eleanor is already well on her way with training. She knows sit, lay down, wait, leave it, and paw, and she walks beautifully on leash. She’s very treat motivated and eager to please, which makes continuing her training both fun and rewarding.Favourites:• Learning new things• Treats• Walks• Spending time with her peopleDislikes:• Rushed introductions to new animals• Being bored without something to doHow to Adopt:If you’re interested in adopting, please visit us at 107 McLaughlin Road, Lindsay, Tuesday to Sunday 11 am–6 pm, contact us by email info@hskl.ca or phone at 705-878-4618.
