My story

Bowie is a gentle, sweet-natured puppy who is just beginning to discover that life can be kind. This eight-month-old, 17-pound Chihuahua mix arrived with his dad, Tom, and brother, Major, after their family lost their housing. The pups spent their days living together in a shed. That small, limited world is all Bowie has ever known, so big changes can understandably feel scary. When you first meet him, Bowie may be reserved and watchful. He thrives with calm, patient people who let him set the pace, offering quiet voices and steady reassurance. Bowie is brand new to walking on a leash and is learning step by step, showing sweet determination as he figures things out. Underneath his shyness is a sensitive, affectionate puppy who longs for safety and gentle connection. In a home that offers routine, patience, and compassion, Bowie has every chance to grow into a devoted and loving companion. Earning his trust, and seeing his confidence bloom, will be deeply rewarding. Bowie’s adoption fee of $350 includes neuter, vaccinations, microchipping, and a complimentary wellness visit at Phoenix Mountain Animal Hospital.
