My story

Goomba is a 3-year-old American Bully who came to us after one of our veterinarians reached out when his owner could no longer care for him due to ongoing allergies and wanted to surrender him. Our hearts broke for Goomba, but any sadness disappeared the moment we met him. This compact little guy is absolutely overflowing with love. It’s as if he’s been waiting his whole life to be cherished, and now that he is, he’s soaking up every bit of it. Goomba leans into affection, lives for human connection, and gives his whole heart without hesitation. He’s the kind of dog who makes you feel chosen. Goomba has a gentle, soulful presence paired with a happy, loving nature that makes everyone around him fall fast. Whether he’s cuddling close, wagging his whole body with excitement, or just gazing up at you with adoration, he reminds us daily how special he truly is.
