My story

 BOOP: From Frozen Streets to Forever Love  Boop didn’t grow up knowing the comfort of a couch… or the safety of four walls. He was a stray — living outside through brutal, sub-freezing nights. Kind people fed him. Someone had him neutered. But when the snowstorms came and temperatures dropped low enough to kill, no one opened their door. Animal Control had to step in so he wouldn’t freeze to death… or worse, be buried alive under snow. When Boop was brought to safety, his little body told the story of street survival: Covered in fleas Filthy, matted fur A severe upper respiratory infection Sneezing constantly — blood filled mucus He felt awful. And he looked it too. But here’s the beautiful part… Day by day, as he was treated, something changed. He began grooming himself. The sneezing stopped. The infection cleared completely. That messy coat is now turning into a shiny, clean black-and-white coat bringing out the true handsome man he is. Boop has fought his way back.  But the streets also taught him survival. When he’s afraid or overstimulated, he may bite. When he wants attention and you walk away, he might grab your ankle with a little “don’t leave me” love bite (maybe a little too aggressively). He doesn’t quite understand yet that love doesn’t disappear. He needs patience.. He needs someone who will let him settle. Someone who understands that trust takes time. He’s quirky and particular: Pristine litter box manners (truly impressive!) Toys? Meh. Catnip? Not his thing. Laser pointer? Only if it’s shaped like a mouse or star — not a dot. (Because of course.  ) LOVES treats — especially Delectables Squeeze Ups (non-seafood) and Temptations Chicken. Eats two cans of Fancy Feast Poultry & Beef Classic Pate daily plus a little Purina ONE High Protein Healthy Weight Plus Chicken dry food at bed time. He is:  Neutered  Microchipped  Fully vaccinated (FVRCP/Distemper)  Dewormed & flea-treated  FIV/FeLV tests are negative Boop doesn’t need perfect. He needs patient. He needs steady. He needs someone who sees beyond a few nervous nips or bites and recognizes a survivor who never got to feel safe. Imagine the first night he curls up beside someone who isn’t going anywhere (he would literally curl up on my lap, feeling like he could never get close enough to me, never wanting to leave). Imagine being the person who finally opens the door — and brings him home forever. Could that be you? Boop survived the cold.
