Meet Tanner: A Gentle, Energetic Old SoulTanner is an 8-year-old hound with the spirit of a young pup! While he may be an "old man" at heart, he's still full of energy and ready to make the most of every day. Tanner came to the shelter as a stray, so his history is a bit of a mystery. But one thing is for sure—he’s been doing wonderfully with the dogs he’s been kenneled with here. He's friendly, social, and seems to be a true gentleman at heart.Though we don’t know much about how Tanner does with cats or children yet, his sweet demeanor and calm nature lead us to believe he would do well in a family setting. He’s already proven that he’s a great companion, especially to those he shares space with!Tanner is HEARTWORM NEGATIVE, has received his first round of vaccines, flea and tick treatment, and dewormer. He's all set to start the next chapter of his life. Best of all, his adoption fee is NO CHARGE, making him the perfect addition to a loving home.If you're looking for a loyal and affectionate companion, Tanner might just be the perfect fit for you! Come meet this lovable hound and give him the forever home he truly deserves.Dogs are $115 and puppies are $110 unless otherwise noted. All cats and kittens are $75.00 unless otherwise noted. The shelter is open Tuesday through Saturday from 10:30-4 and is closed daily for lunch from 12:30-1. Adoptions are done on a first come first serve basis for owner releases. Strays have a wait list.
