Odin

My story

Odin is a AKC Norwegian Elkhound. He is 5 years old. We’ve had him since he was a puppy. Due to being a SAHM and my husband constantly being away for work it’s unfortunate that we must rehome him. We would like him to go to a less busy home. We would love to have him go to a farm or with lots of acres. Person must have patience, not a busy schedule and an understanding of a breed like this. He is doubled coated meaning proper care of it is a must and knowing warm weather (even house heat) can be difficult for him. He is the runt of the litter, he gets anxious and lots of attention and love is needed. He is a slow and picky eater, certain treats and foods can upset his stomach. He is a huge barker. This is part of his breed hence why preferably a house with distance from other neighbors etc. He is not a fan of kids under 1 yrs old, gets too anxious. This dog would suit someone who has adults in their household and older kids. He’s crate trained.
