My story

My Name is LADY I was surrendered by a family who no longer wanted to care for me. I was never groomed or bathed for the first year of my life , I gave birth to a liter of puppies and then my family stuck me in a kennel for a week, then waited for the rescue to pick me up. I came into rescue with my son MAX who is also up for adoption. My foster mom has worked with me the last 9 months building trust with grooming , baths , humans , other animals and the traveling. I am kennel trained ,I know how to use a dog door , I enjoy going for walks but I MUST be on a leash , otherwise I am a runner. I enjoy car rides and adventures . I like to get out of the house, I chase stray cats so I probably won't do well in a home with cats. I don't do well with small children who force themselves on me . I prefer to slowly build trust and take time to work on bonding with my new family. I love being a lap dog and on the couch next to you .
