My story

QUICK FACTS  Name: Vita Age: September 12th 2025 (Around 5 months old) Gender: Female (Scheduled to be spayed in March) Breed: Jindo mix Color: White Weight: 7kg / 15.4lbs Microchipped, Fully Vaccinated Up to Date, Dewormed    MY RESCUE STORY  My brave mama, Vivian, gave birth to me and my siblings inside a city pound. It wasn’t the easiest start to life, but she did her very best to keep us safe and loved. Thanks to kind rescuers, we were given a second chance and the opportunity to grow up in safety. Now I’m healthy, happy, and ready to find a forever family who will love and cherish me for the rest of my life.    MY HEALTH  • All vaccinations up-to-date • Healthy with no known health issues. Spaying to be scheduled soon.    MY PERSONALITY  I’m even cuter in person, and please don’t let my initial shyness fool you. With just a few treats and some gentle, kind words, I warm up quickly and happily show you my sweet, loving side. I’m still a young pup learning about the world around me, taking everything in at my own pace. Out of my siblings, I’m the quietest one, and I absolutely love being held in your arms and feeling safe and close to my people.    MY SOCIAL SKILLS  · With People: I’m a little shy at first, but it doesn’t take me long to warm up—especially with a few tasty treats and some gentle, reassuring words. Once I feel comfortable, I happily allow myself to be picked up, and one of my favorite places to be is right on your lap. After I’ve warmed up to you, I truly love being close and soaking in all the cuddles and affection. · With Dogs: I like to greet new dogs with a polite hello, but I don’t feel the need to jump straight into play. I prefer to take my time, observe, and explore things at my own pace. Once I feel comfortable, I’m happy to coexist and interact. I generally get along best with dogs my size or bigger, as I feel more confident and balanced around them. · With Cats: My reaction to cats is unknown. A cat test can be arranged upon request to ensure the best fit.    ENERGY LEVEL & ACTIVITY  I have a moderate energy level and enjoy a nice balance in my day. I love spending time outdoors, stretching my legs and taking in the fresh air. After I’ve had my walk and some outdoor time, I’m more than happy to come inside, curl up, and snuggle peacefully by your side.    TRAINING & HABITS  I’m still working on my leash skills since I’m a young pup with lots to learn, but I’m picking things up quickly and improving every day. I don’t guard my food from people, though I can be a little sensitive if other dogs are nearby during mealtime. I’m generally a quiet girl, but I may let out a a little whine now and then if I’m hoping for some attention. I know how to rest calmly in my kennel, and I mainly prefer to do my potty outdoors.    MY IDEAL HOME  I’m searching for a patient, loving family who can help me become the best version of myself. I’ll thrive in a home with: • A family that will provide me with a safe haven – where I can decompress, be myself in a stable environment • A family that understands my past and is patient with me throughout • A family that enjoys indoor and outdoor time together • A family that will love and cherish me forever • A family that understands I’m a young pup & will need continued guidance in basic obedience and socialization • Understanding my love for food and continue to train me so I learn to be more patient when other dogs are nearby    SPECIAL NOTES  I’m an absolute sweetheart, and I truly believe my forever family is out there waiting for me. I bond deeply with my people and love being close to those I trust. As a young pup, I’m naturally curious about the world and still learning new things every day. I may be a little shy at first while I figure things out, but I open up quickly and show my friendly, gentle, and affectionate side. Once I feel safe, my loving personality really shines.   Vita's Youtube Playlist    Apply to foster or adopt: https://www.welcomedogkorea.org  For Inquiries: info@welcomedogkorea.com ##2666605##
