My story

Meet Ellie, the most adorable  scruffy little girl! Ellie is a precious 2-year-old, 12-pound Papillion / Poodle / Yorkie mix. Whatever her breed combination, the result is one precious pup who checks every box on a companion "wish list." Ellie has a cuddle-soft, sparkling glacier white coat with high-gloss black patches that shine like silk. Her huge, dark chestnut eyes truly sparkle when she sees you. She is incredibly affectionate and will happily let you pet her all day. Ellie is also wonderful with other dogs of all sizes and is even fine with cats. She loves to play, run, and chase toys with her doggie buddies. Not only is she adorable, but Ellie is also very smart. She is an eager learner who already knows commands like "sit" and "wait" for her food and treats. She is social enough to join you for errands or a trip to the park, and at the end of the day, she loves nothing more than snuggling up close to you before heading to her crate or you side of the bed for bedtime. Our director feels the perfect home for Ellie would be with a single person, an active retired couple, or any owner who would enjoy a loyal, and smart companion. A family who wants to spend time with her and make her a true part of the family. Ellie is currently with her foster family in Kentucky and will arrive in the New England area via pet transport once adopted. Her adoption fee is $875. She is spayed, up to date on vaccinations, heartworm negative, and current on all preventatives. If you are interested in Ellie, the first step is to submit an adoption application.
