CHARKY: The Mayor of Yaptown 🗣️🐾 If you’re looking for a quiet, mysterious, blends-into-the-background type… keep scrolling. If you’re looking for a hilarious, affectionate, full-volume bundle of pug joy — Charky is your guy. Charky is potty trained, stair mastering, Fresh Pet–fueled perfection (¼ cup twice a day, thank you very much). He’s healthy, happy, and ready to bring the party wherever he goes. 💥 Personality Level: Extra (in the best way) Charky is affectionate, playful, goofy, and proudly communicative. He doesn’t just live life — he narrates it. Excited? YAP. Happy? YAP YAP. Slightly inconvenienced? A dramatic pug opera performance. The best part? Nothing is wrong. He just has thoughts and believes you should hear them. He LOVES head scratches, leans into affection, and wants to be where his people are at all times. Personal space? Never heard of her. 🐶 Social Butterfly Status: Confirmed Friendly and submissive with other dogs Would thrive with other small dogs to play with Great with kids (older kiddos who can match his energy are ideal!) Energetic and welcoming with new people 🚶‍♂️ On leash? Eager explorer. 🚗 In the car? A little nervous at first, but settles once he realizes snacks and snuggles are still available. 🏠 At home? Clingy cuddle bug who prefers not to be left alone too long (he’ll voice his opinion about it). ⚡ A few things to know: Not crate trained yet Mild resource guarding (more “this is mine” posture than actual attitude) Loud noises like fireworks or vacuums can spook him He may bark or howl when left alone — because again, he has feelings Charky would absolutely flourish in a home with: ✔️ Another small playful dog ✔️ Humans who appreciate a chatty companion ✔️ A family who loves personality ✔️ Someone who finds dramatic pug noises endearing (because they are) He’s affectionate. He’s social. He’s goofy. He’s snuggly. He’s basically a living, breathing sound effect with a heart of gold. If your house feels a little too quiet… Charky is ready to fix that. 🐾💛
