Sullivan has a big heart and lots of love to give, but he’s looking for an experienced family who can guide him, keep up with his energy, and help him grow into the best version of himself.With the right people, Sullivan is a loyal, affectionate companion who will brighten every day with his playful spirit and sweet personality. If you’re ready for a big, fluffy friend who’s as loving as he is lively, Sullivan is your perfect match!***At this time, we are only accepting applications for Sullivan***IN-SHELTER NOTES & IDEAL HOMESIZE:20 lbs and growing!HOME TYPE:Any.CHILDREN:Yes- Mid-aged children potentially compatible.CATS & SMALL ANIMALS:Yes- cats potentially compatible with slow proper introduction.OTHER DOGS:Yes- dogs potentially compatibleACTIVITY/ENERGY LEVEL:High; will need a lot of daily exercise, enrichment and mental stimulation.HUMAN COMPATIBILTY:Sullivan would not be a good fit for a first time dog owner. He will need his new family to have experience with similar types/breeds of dogs (for example Chow chow, akita and/or spitz-type). TRAINING REQUIREMENTS/NEEDS:At least three in-person training sessions to work on socialization, basic training, manners and resource guarding.HUMAN SOCIAL IN SHELTER:Very human social! Very sweet and friendly with an independent streak.
