My story

Tracker is ready to have a home full of good naps, healthy boundaries, and love. She lived the hard life on the streets of Dayton, where she raised a delightful little boy who has since been adopted, and now it’s her turn! She takes a little time to learn to trust, but once she’s ready, she’ll let you know. Tracker loves to say, “good morning,” at breakfast time with head-bonks, pets, and she relishes a fresh bowl of cold water. Her favorite treat is a small dish with a Churu in it (chicken and cheese flavor, thank you). Not ready for lap-sitting, just yet, Tracker prefers to sit near her favorite humans when she’s feeling sociable, and she welcomes attention and pets. She would do best in a calm home with a couple of sheltered nap spots (a cat tree with a cave or even just an open carrier). She does quite well with other cats, mostly just keeping to herself. While she is generally an independent lady who just wants to enjoy some peace and quiet, she enjoys a good crinkle toy, or a soft ball, when play-time calls!
