 QUICK FACTS  Name: Rookie Age: About 2 years old Gender: Male (Neutered) Breed: Shiba Mix Color: Black and White Weight: 11kg / 24lbs Microchipped, Fully Vaccinated Up to Date, Dewormed    MY RESCUE STORY  I was abandoned by my previous owners at a park and was moved to a city pound, where I ended up on the euthanasia list due to lack of space. Thankfully, I was given a second chance, and I am excited to start a new chapter of my life with my family that will cherish and love me forever!     MY HEALTH  • All vaccinations up-to-date • Neutered & healthy with no known health issues    MY PERSONALITY  Hi, I’m Rookie, a smart and easygoing dog with a truly lovely personality! I get along well with other dogs and know how to enjoy my toys—I love to play and have fun! I used to live in a home, so I’m already familiar with family life and routines. Adjusting to a household comes naturally to me. I adore people and tend to bond right away—I’m the type who will happily follow you from the very beginning. With proper care and love, I’ll thrive beautifully. I’m ready to trust again and become a loyal, loving member of a forever family!    MY SOCIAL SKILLS  · With People: I am outgoing and love saying hello to everyone! I can be easily pet, and guess what? I will even show you my cute belly! I like to be free to roam around, and I do not like being held too high. I am not familiar with meeting young children under the age of 13, but I am sure I will get along great with them!   · With Dogs: I am a social dog! I enjoy playing with my dog friends, and I get along with all dogs, and I get along especially well with dogs that are of my size!  · With Cats: My reaction to cats is unknown   ENERGY LEVEL & ACTIVITY  I have moderate energy level – I enjoy my playtime outdoors to get my exercise, and I am happy to rest inside afterwards! I am an experienced walker and follow my handler very well!     TRAINING & HABITS  I don’t guard my food from people or dogs. I may bark at times when I am in need of your attention. I am calm and relaxed when I am in the kennel. I am trained to potty both indoors and outdoors.    MY IDEAL HOME  I’m searching for a patient, loving family who can help me become the best version of myself.
