My story

**Note: Currently, Goori is in Korea, but he will fly to Toronto on Mar 15 upon adoption. For more info about Goori, or adoption application, please follow the link below. https://www.freekoreandogs.org/dog/goori/ ---------------------------------- Background Goori was rescued in December 2024 from a city pound in Incheon. After her rescue, she moved to our partner boarding house, where she has been waiting patiently for her forever family. During her time there, she has shown everyone just how gentle and loving she truly is toward people. Personality and Socialization Goori is a sweet and gentle girl with a warm heart. She has a medium energy level and enjoys daily walks and time with her people, but she also settles nicely and relaxes well. She enjoys being around people. She is happy to greet both men and women and loves human attention. With other dogs, Goori is gentle and playful with friendly companions. She especially enjoys dogs of similar size who are friendly and not rough. She prefers calm and polite friends and does very well in peaceful social settings. She has not yet been tested with cats. Behaviours Goori prefers to do her business outdoors and has good walking manners. She walks well on a leash and rides calmly in the car. She does not have unusual barking habits and does not chew or destroy household items. She has not shown any signs of separation anxiety. At the hospital, Goori can become scared and nervous. Goori may wiggle and fuss during examinations or nail trims, so a cone or muzzle is recommended for safety. She may also squirm during bath time. Health and Diet Goori is spayed, microchipped, and fully vaccinated. She is dewormed and takes monthly parasite preventatives. When she was rescued, she had heartworms, but she has completed treatment. She has now recovered and is healthy. She shows no signs of allergies, and she eats kibble twice a day. Ideal Home Goori would do well in a loving home that offers steady companionship and regular walks. She would enjoy living with another kind and similarly sized dog, but she would also be happy as the only dog in a calm home. Goori is a soft and affectionate girl who simply wants to love and be loved. Whoever welcomes her home will gain a loyal companion with a gentle heart and so much devotion to give. ------------------------------- For more info about Goori, or adoption application, please follow the link below. https://www.freekoreandogs.org/dog/goori/
