My story

Meet Heedong 🐾 A gentle, loving 2-year-old Jindo mix girl, weighing around 18 kilos, who is still patiently waiting for her forever home. Heedong was saved by devoted volunteers at another city shelter when she had nowhere else to go. With no foster or adoption options available, she was transferred to Dream Tails, where she is safe — but still hoping for the stability of a family of her own. Heedong is a truly kind and emotionally balanced dog. She is very social with people and other dogs, wonderful with children, and incredibly affectionate. Because she loves humans so much, she can get very excited and may jump up on people to greet them — something that can be easily guided with gentle training. She walks calmly on leash and enjoys exploring the world by your side. While she has never lived inside a home before, she is intelligent and eager to learn. With routine and guidance, she is expected to adjust quickly. She may briefly growl if another dog approaches during meals, but this behavior is limited to feeding time and easily managed. Heedong has already shown remarkable patience and resilience. What she needs now is stability, love, and a place to belong.
