My story

Some dogs are social butterflies—this big guy is more of a one-person best friend, and he takes that role very seriously. At around 3 years old, this large, handsome dog is devoted, affectionate, and deeply bonded to “his” person. He thrives in a calm, predictable home where he can focus all his love on one human rather than navigating a busy household with lots of comings and goings. Because he feels protective of his people, he’s had a harder time in homes with multiple people—but with just one person, he truly shines. On leash, he’s a dream to walk and enjoys getting out and about with his person. He’s done well with most other dogs but may prefer to be your one and only at home. He already knows sit and is eager to please. At home, he’s all about the good stuff: affection, pets, cuddles, and quality time curled up next to his person. This sweet boy would be a wonderful match for a single adult, a quieter household, and someone who doesn’t have frequent visitors—a person who wants a loyal shadow, a steady walking buddy, and a dog who will love them with his whole heart. If you’re looking for a devoted companion who wants nothing more than to be your dog, this guy might be exactly who you’ve been waiting for.
