My story

 QUICK FACTS  Name: Baekdu Age: About 3 years old Gender: Male (Neutered) Breed: Poongsan Jindo Mix Color: White Weight: 22kg / 48.5lbs Microchipped, Fully Vaccinated Up to Date, Dewormed    MY RESCUE STORY  I was on the list for euthanasia at a crowded city pound but was rescued just in time by kind people! I am now ready to start a new chapter of my life with my forever family!     MY HEALTH  • All vaccinations up-to-date • Neutered & healthy with no known health issues    MY PERSONALITY  I’m a big, handsome dog with a sharp mind and a loving heart! From the very first day I arrived, I showed how much I love people and how well I get along with other dogs. Making friends comes naturally to me! This is a secret, but I already know a few tricks—sit, paw, other paw—and I mastered them after just one lesson! Learning is easy and fun for me, and with a little training in my forever home, I know I can learn many more skills. I may have a large build that makes you fall for me instantly, but I’m also gentle, charming, and very in tune with people. I understand words well and communicate beautifully with humans.  I’m a dog with great potential, intelligence, and loyalty. If you’re looking for a smart, affectionate companion who truly connects with you, I might be the one you’ve been waiting for    MY SOCIAL SKILLS  · With People: I love meeting people and saying hello! I can easily be pet and be held in your arms. And guess what? When we become friends, I will even show you my belly! I haven’t met children under the age of 13 yet but I think I will love playing with them too!  · With Dogs: I like to play with my dog friends! I get along with all my friends but I get along especially well with those that are smaller than me.  · With Cats: My reaction to cats is unknown   ENERGY LEVEL & ACTIVITY  I have moderate energy level – I like to get my playtime outdoors to get my exercise and I love to rest inside just as much! I enjoy going on walks and may pull on the leash at times because I get excited but I am generally good at following my handler!     TRAINING & HABITS  I don’t guard my food from people, but I may growl if another dog comes nearby. I may bark when I want something. I am calm when I am placed in the kennel. I like to potty outdoors! When in an unfamiliar environment, I may display marking behaviours.     MY IDEAL HOME  I’m searching for a patient, loving family who can help me become the best version of myself.
