My story

Guido is brand new to the rescue and still trying to understand why his world has suddenly changed. Even in an unfamiliar and scary environment, his true nature shines through—he is incredibly loving, gentle, and snuggly. Despite being unsure of his surroundings, Guido instinctively seeks comfort from people, even those he’s just met. He’ll quietly crawl into a lap, looking for safety and reassurance, and it’s impossible not to feel how special he is.Guido was surrendered to the rescue due to the declining health of his owner, a situation no one wanted but one that gives him a chance to find a new loving home. He will need a patient home willing to give him time to decompress and adjust, allowing him to feel safe and secure again.With a little time, consistency, and lots of love, Guido’s affectionate personality will truly blossom. His ability to trust and seek connection, even during a difficult transition, speaks volumes about the incredible companion he will be. Guido has so much love to give and is ready to share it with the family who gives him a second chance.
