He is quite intelligent—smart enough to figure out how to open the front door. He is energetic, curious, and playful, but also a bit shy at first. However, he loves people and warms up quickly thanks to his affectionate nature. He truly enjoys walks and outdoor activities and still has some puppy-like mischief and playfulness. Can be reactive to other dogs Interaction with Cats: No direct experience with cats; gets excited when seeing neighborhood stray cats House Training: Completed; still uses an indoor pee pad for urination Crate Training: Completed Energy Level: 5 / 10 Handling: Can be handled by his primary caregiver for nail trimming, tooth brushing, and bathing Barking Tendencies: Barks when strangers visit the yard or house; occasionally barks to demand something Escape Tendencies: Sometimes runs away playfully with shoes Appetite: Eats very well Current Diet: Dry kibble, cooked meals, and raw food Leash Walking: Walks well on leash with a collar Reactivity on Leash (to people or dogs): Barks initially when unfamiliar people visit the home; tends to be reactive toward other dogs Car Rides: Rides well, but pants due to nervousness Destructive Behavior: Likes to tear up tissues and cushions, so items should be kept out of reach Needs a Home with a Yard: Not required Needs a Home with Another Dog: Prefers to be the only dog Apartment Living: Suitable for apartment living Rescue Story: Milk was rescued as one of six puppies born to a stray mother dog who repeatedly gave birth in a rural village. He has been fostered in a home environment since he was about 2 months old.
