My story

 QUICK FACTS  Name: Polly Age: 1 year old Gender: Female (Spayed) Breed: Jindo mix  Color: White Weight: 13kg / 28.6lbs Microchipped, Fully Vaccinated Up to Date, Dewormed    MY RESCUE STORY  I was rescued from a neglected situation where I was tied up and left without proper care. Thankfully, kind rescuers noticed my situation and stepped in to give me a second chance at life. Now I’m safe, loved, and ready to find a forever family who will cherish me and give me the happy future I deserve.    MY HEALTH  • Spayed & healthy with no known health issues • All vaccinations up-to-date    MY PERSONALITY  I spent much of my puppyhood without the care I deserved, but every day at the care facility I’m learning to open up and trust more. I’m making progress day by day. I’m a sweet girl with so much potential, and with gentle encouragement and a little time, I truly blossom. Once I feel safe, I love showing my affectionate side—during my photoshoot, I happily sat next to a staff member and soaked up all the pets and love.    MY SOCIAL SKILLS  · With People: I can be a little shy at first and prefer not to be petted right away, but it doesn’t take me long to open up. I’ll gently take treats from your hand, and with soft encouragement, I’ll allow gentle pets as trust grows. I’m not a fan of being picked up right away, but once a bond is built, I become much more relaxed and trusting. · With Dogs: I’m a friendly and curious pup who loves saying hello to new friends, though I like to take my time before jumping into play. I enjoy exploring and doing my own thing at my own pace. I get along beautifully with the other dogs here, and I always bring a calm, easygoing energy to the group. · With Cats: My reaction to cats is unknown. A cat test can be arranged upon request to ensure the best fit.   ENERGY LEVEL & ACTIVITY  I have a moderate energy level – I love spending time outside for play and adventures, and afterwards, I enjoy cozying up inside for some well-deserved snuggles and relaxation.    TRAINING & HABITS  I sometimes get excited on the leash, but I usually follow my handler’s lead really well. I’m relaxed around people at mealtimes and don’t guard my food, though I can be a little sensitive when other dogs are nearby while eating. I’m a very quiet pup and rarely bark. I’m trained to potty both indoors on a pee pad and outdoors, and with a consistent walk routine, I’ll happily stick to outdoor bathroom breaks.    MY IDEAL HOME  I’m searching for a patient, loving family who can help me become the best version of myself. I’ll thrive in a home with: • A family that will provide me with a safe haven – where I can decompress, be myself in a stable environment • A family that understands my past and is patient with me throughout. I will need some time to open up & continuedsocial desensitization and basic obedience training • A family that enjoys indoor and outdoor time together • A family that will love and cherish me forever    SPECIAL NOTES  I’m just 1 year old and full of potential, ready to grow and thrive with the right family. I’m looking for a loving forever home that will appreciate me for who I am and be patient as I slowly come out of my shell. Once I feel safe and comfortable, I’ll become your devoted shadow and loyal companion. I may be a little shy at first, but with gentle care, my sweet, affectionate personality shines through.
