My story

Linnie is a quiet, reserved girl who has had a difficult start in life and is still learning that the world-and the people in it-can be safe. Because of her past, she is a very shy and sensitive cat who needs time, consistency, and understanding in order to begin building trust. Linnie is currently in foster care, where she is able to decompress and adjust at her own pace.Linnie is not a cat who will seek out attention or affection right away. Her future adopter should expect that they may not see her often at first, and that touching or handling her may take a long time-possibly months or more. She will need a calm, predictable environment and a caregiver who is patient and respectful of her boundaries. She is best suited for an experienced cat owner, ideally someone who has worked with fearful or undersocialized cats before. Linnie needs someone who is willing to put in the time without expectations, allowing trust to develop naturally rather than forcing interaction.Linnie would do best in a home without dogs or small children. She may do well with another confident, cat-savvy feline, as a calm companion could help her feel more secure and model positive behaviors, though this is not a requirement.Linnie is looking for a special kind of home-one built on patience, empathy, and unconditional care. With time and understanding, she has the potential to grow more comfortable and confident. Helping Linnie feel safe and secure will be a quiet, deeply meaningful journey for the right adopter. đź’› Primary Color: Grey Secondary Color: White Weight: 1.098 Age: 5yrs 1mths 2wks
