Meet May!! (case #7136) Age: 2 years Vibe: Gentle, loving, and ready to be your new best friend May is a sweet girl with a heart as big as her adorable smile. She came to us as an unclaimed stray, but she’s quickly shown everyone that she’s all about affection, kindness, and making human friends. She loves attention, is very easy to handle, and has a calm, gentle nature that makes her a joy to be around. This smart pup already knows some basic commands and is eager to please—she’s the kind of dog who wants to do the right thing. With a little polishing through formal obedience classes, May will shine even brighter while learning household routines and building a strong bond with her future family. May has done great meeting our helper dog and showed polite, appropriate social skills during introductions. She may be happy sharing her home with another dog, as long as slow, on-leash introductions and positive interactions continue. Overall, May is a friendly, well-mannered girl who would thrive in a home that offers companionship, structure, and ongoing training. Her only health note is that she’s a bit overweight—but she’s ready to work on that with regular walks, playtime, and a loving family cheering her on. Her adopters must be willing to return her for this surgery, which is included in the adoption fee. Animal adoptions and viewing are by appointment only.
