My story

 QUICK FACTS  Name: Simba Age: Estimated to be 3 years old Gender: Male (Neutered) Breed: Jindo mix Color: Beige Weight: 12kg / 26.4lbs Microchipped, Fully Vaccinated Up to Date, Dewormed    MY RESCUE STORY  I was rescued just in time from the euthanasia list at a city pound, where I ended up simply because there wasn’t enough space. I’m not sure how I got there, but thanks to kind rescuers, I was given a second chance at life. Now that I’m safe, loved, and cared for, I’m ready to leave my past behind and find my forever family who will shower me with love and a lifetime of happiness.    MY HEALTH  • All vaccinations up-to-date • Neutered & healthy with no known health issues    MY PERSONALITY  I absolutely love people and am a true people’s pup at heart! I’m a bit more indifferent toward my dog friends, though I get along well with my buddies at the care facility. I also enjoy some peaceful alone time to relax and recharge. During my photoshoot, I was a total snuggle bug, and one of my favorite things is playing with my toys. I’m a super smart, resilient boy who adapts well to new experiences and thrives with love and attention.    MY SOCIAL SKILLS  · With People: I’m super friendly with people and absolutely love greeting new friends! I thrive on attention, pets, and cuddles, and I can’t get enough of human companionship. I haven’t had much experience with young kids yet, but with my gentle, friendly personality, I’m confident I’ll do wonderfully with respectful children. Once I feel comfortable, I’ll happily show my belly and even let you pick me up for some extra snuggles. · With Dogs: I love meeting new dog friends, though I like to take my time before jumping into play. I enjoy doing my own thing and exploring at my own pace. I can get a little jealous when other dogs get lots of attention, so I’ll do best as the only dog at home—then I can soak up all the love from my humans! · With Cats: My reaction to cats is unknown. A cat test can be arranged upon request to ensure the best fit.    ENERGY LEVEL & ACTIVITY  I have a high energy level and absolutely love running around, exploring, and discovering everything in my environment. After plenty of outdoor fun and adventures, I’m more than happy to come inside and snuggle up, enjoying some cozy downtime with my favorite people.    TRAINING & HABITS  I’m a smart and eager-to-learn pup! I walk nicely on leash and follow my handler’s lead, and I’m improving all the time. I don’t guard my food around people, and I happily share treats with my dog friends at the care facility. I’m usually a quiet, easygoing pup, and I’m learning to feel confident in new environments. With patience, guidance, and love, I’m becoming an even better, well-mannered companion every day!    MY IDEAL HOME  I’m searching for a patient, loving family who can help me become the best version of myself. I’ll thrive in a home with: • A family that will provide me with a safe haven – where I can decompress, be myself in a stable environment • A family that understands my past and is patient with me throughout • A family that enjoys indoor and outdoor time together • A family that will love and cherish me forever • Ideally the only dog in the household     SPECIAL NOTES  I’m a sweet, friendly boy who loves following staff and volunteers around, asking for playtime, pets, and affection! I have a huge appetite and get super excited at mealtime, gobbling up my food with joy—which also makes me eager to learn and quick to pick up new tricks.
