My story

 QUICK FACTS  Name: Smurf Age: Around 4-5 months old Gender: Female (Spaying to be scheduled) Breed: Jindo Chihuahua mix  Color: Black & White Weight: 4.5kg / 10lbs Microchipped, Fully Vaccinated Up to Date, Dewormed    MY RESCUE STORY  I arrived at the city pound with my siblings, but one by one, they were all adopted and found their families. I was the only one left behind, and without adoption, I was at risk of being placed on the euthanasia list. Luckily, kind rescuers noticed my situation and stepped in just in time to bring me to safety. Now I’m safe, loved, and ready to find my forever family who will cherish me as much as I’ll cherish them.    MY HEALTH  • Healthy with no known health issues • Will receive all vaccinations soon    MY PERSONALITY  I’m a curious, joyful girl full of personality! Playing with my toys is my absolute favorite thing to do, and I get so excited for every playtime. I have a huge appetite and love my meals, which also makes me eager to learn and please. I adore meeting new people and making friends everywhere I go—I just can’t help spreading my happiness and love!    MY SOCIAL SKILLS  · With People: I absolutely love meeting new people and soaking up all the affection and pets I can get! I get so excited to bond that I might let out a little whine when I’m not getting enough attention—after all, I just can’t get enough of human love! You can pick me up, and I’ll happily snuggle right into your arms, sharing all my puppy joy and sweetness with you. · With Dogs: I absolutely love playing with my dog friends! Whether it’s chasing, romping, or just goofing around, I always have the best time making new furry buddies and sharing fun adventures together. · With Cats: My reaction to cats is unknown. A cat test can be arranged upon request to ensure to best fit.    ENERGY LEVEL & ACTIVITY  I have a high energy level and absolutely love running, exploring, and discovering everything around me! After all my adventures and playtime, I’m happy to come inside and settle down for some cozy, relaxing snuggles.    TRAINING & HABITS  I’m still learning my leash manners, but I’m getting better every day! I love to sniff and explore everything around me when we go for walks—it’s my way of discovering the world. I don’t guard my food around people, though I can be a little sensitive when other dogs are nearby, but I happily share treats with my friends. I’m usually a quiet pup, though I may bark when I want a little extra attention. I know how to rest calmly in my kennel, and I’m doing great with potty training, using both indoor pee pads and outdoor spaces. With patience and love, I’m learning and growing into an even sweeter, well-mannered companion every day!    MY IDEAL HOME  I’m searching for a patient, loving family who can help me become the best version of myself. I’ll thrive in a home with: • A family that will provide me with a safe haven – where I can decompress, be myself in a stable environment • A family that understands my past and is patient with me throughout • A family that enjoys indoor and outdoor time together • A family that will love and cherish me forever • Understanding that I’m a young pup and will need continued guidance & structure       SPECIAL NOTES  I’m a curious, playful, and affectionate pup who loves making friends—both people and dogs! I’m full of energy and sometimes I beg my older dog friends to play with me, though I’m learning to match their pace. I’m even cuter in person and a happy-go-lucky girl.
