My story

DOB: December 21, 2024 Alice is a curious, energetic, playful, and very vocal cat who truly shines as a companion. She loves interaction and will happily “talk” with you to have little conversations. She is clean, well groomed, and absolutely adorable, with a lively presence that brings energy into the home. She is confident with guests and likes observing, interacting, and sharing space rather than being a constant lap cat. She is alert, expressive, and clearly enjoys being involved in whatever is happening around her. Her companionship is social and engaging, not clingy. Alice enjoys toys, fast-moving objects, and especially watching (and trying to catch!) birds or fish on screens. Alice eats slowly and carefully, so she would do best as an only cat without food competition, or in a home where her meals can be fully supervised. Alice has a history of eye ulcers affecting both eyes. She sees well with one eye, while her vision in the other eye is more limited, with a documented possibility of further vision loss over time. She currently navigates her environment confidently and tracks moving objects well, but a stable home setup will be important. Alice also has a history of intermittent blood in her stool, documented in her medical record. While this has not affected her overall health so far, the underlying cause has not been diagnosed. A future adopter should be financially and emotionally prepared for veterinary follow-up and aware that this history may complicate pet insurance coverage. Alice is an affectionate, funny, talkative, and engaging cat who offers wonderful companionship. For the right person, she will be a truly rewarding presence in the home.

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Alice, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
