My story

DOB: July 27th, 2023 - FIV/FeLV Negative Mewdini is a sweet, charismatic boy with a big personality who truly loves being part of family life. Whether he’s watching TV with his humans, supervising his foster mom in the kitchen, or snoozing in his hammock beside his people at night, Mewdini wants to be wherever the action is. He’ll greet you at the door after work and happily follow you everywhere—yes, even into the bathroom! When Mewdini first arrived in foster care, he was a serious fellow who wasn’t very interested in pets. With time, patience, and love, his personality has softened beautifully. While he’s not a typical lap cat, he now genuinely enjoys physical closeness—head scratches, curling up against his dad’s leg, and sometimes even resting on his mom’s lap while she works from home. Mewdini loves playtime and has a strong inner hunter. He likes chasing springs and catnip pillows, and is thrilled by birds and squirrels. He can happily entertain himself, but he especially enjoys when his foster parents join the fun—whether it’s a "throw a toy" session or some “hand wrestling.” Like any enthusiastic hunter, he can get a little feisty during play, but it’s harmless and always in good fun. Mewdini gets along well with other male cats. Because he’s confident and rambunctious, he may overwhelm shy or timid cats, so he would do best with an equally bold feline companion who can match his energy. He has a healthy appetite and isn’t picky—kibble, wet food, or a crunchy treat all make him happy. He plays fetch with kibble and is always curious about what the humans are eating. Mewdini has asthma, but his symptoms are well controlled with medication. He currently takes a quarter pill every day and uses an inhaler twice daily, with his dosage gradually reduced over the past few months due to improvement. Mewdini's foster parents administer his inhaler together: mom will gently hold Mewdini, while dad gives the puff. Such teamwork makes it easy and it only takes 10 seconds. He will need a scent- and smoke-free home with dust-free litter to keep his lungs healthy. This charming boy will thrive in a loving home that offers plenty of playtime, companionship, and affection—balanced with respect for his independence.
