Tiki & Rocco ( Bonded Pair)

My story

Tiki and Rocco were surrendered to us after their owner passed away. They had not had the best care. They are thriving now and will only be adopted out together. They are very attached to each other. They are sweet dogs without a mean bone in their body. They are very petite Shih Tzus and the pair will make a delightful addition to almost any family. They are 5 years old. Like many of our rescue dogs, we are not sure how well housetrained these two are. But with gentle persuasion, some consistency, structure and praise they should be easy to train. Tiki and Rocco are coated dogs (hair grows continuously) and will need professional grooming every 6-8 weeks. Tiki and Rocco’s combined adoption fee is $750 This fee includes at least one health exam at our veterinarian while in our care, altering, all vaccinations including rabies (as permitted by age), a pre-adoption professional grooming and a microchip with lifetime membership that never will cost you a fee. All dogs also leave with a new collar and or harness and leash as well as a gift bag which includes among other things, a starter bag of the quality kibble that is being fed at the rescue. Adoption fees also allow us the ability to put funds towards the next homeless or unwanted dog in need of rescue! Please understand that sometimes we get numerous applications for specific dogs and as a volunteer-based rescue, we do not always have the time to respond to each one. We do our best to choose the most suitable home for each dog based on their specific personality and needs. Please note you MAY NOT be contacted for up to 10 days to schedule a meet and greet if your family is the most suitable for this rescue dog. Regrettably, we do not have the manpower currently to contact all applicants. We keep ALL applications in our database so please feel free to contact us when you see another dog of interest.
