Lulu could be your very loving and lifelong friend! Lulu was surrendered by her owner. They were spending more time away from home on business trips and felt that Lulu was no longer getting the care and attention that she needed--and deserved. Now this gorgeous and gentle grey girl is looking for her perfect and fur-ever home.ABOUT LULU - In foster- Lulu recently moved to a foster home and is settling in well there. This girl loves her food and that is good motivation to come out and explore!- While at the shelter, although she was nervous and timid at first, Lulu was described by volunteers as very loving, very sweet, very cuddly, very friendly, and very playful. That is a lot of “verys”!- She is loving and affectionate, but Lulu will let you know that, sometimes, she needs some space. She will usually communicate that with a hiss, putting out her paw, or giving a gentle swat if necessary. It is just her way of letting you know her comfort limits.- Lulu didn’t seem to enjoy being brushed when she first arrived at the shelter, but once she became more relaxed there, she has been good with brushing and shows her approval by giving leg rubs in return!- Lulu has also been described as “a cuddle-bug lap cat in the making” who loves chin, cheek, and head scratches (with a back-scratcher and by hand), and she will seek out pets and attention. She prefers spending time with human companions once she is comfortable with them.- Lulu is not a fan of unexpected or loud noises, or having a lot of visitors all at once. She prefers to keep her social gatherings small and quiet; otherwise she has been known to hide under a bed until everyone leaves!- This curious cat loves to explore during “out time” from her kennel at the shelter.- Lulu can be very playful! She enjoys playing with feather wand toys, catnip toys, and a laser pointer.- In her previous home, Lulu slept at the foot of her owner’s bed at night.- Lulu has been spayed, microchipped, dewormed, flea-treated, SNAP-tested for FIV/FeLV, and is up to date on core vaccinations.LULU’S IDEAL HOME- Potential adopters should expect to give Lulu some time to warm up and feel comfortable in her new environment, and with new people.- Lulu would do best as the only cat in the household.- She has not had any experience interacting with other pets, so we are unsure how Lulu would do with them. It would also be better for Lulu to be in
If you have any questions or would like to adopt Lulu, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
