QUICK FACTS Name: Marty Age: About 1 year old Gender: Male (Neutered) Breed: Jindo Mix Color: Beige Weight: 7kg / 15.4lbs Microchipped, Fully Vaccinated Up to Date, Dewormed   MY RESCUE STORY I was on the list for euthanasia at a city pound, but kind-hearted rescuers stepped in just in time! I am ready to begin a new journey with my forever family! Could you be the one?   MY HEALTH All vaccinations up-to-date Neutered & healthy with no known health issues   MY PERSONALITY Hi, I am Marty! I may seem shy at first but with a little bit of time, affection, and treats, I have the potential to be your best friend! I enjoy the company of people and dog friends, and I am gentle and kind in nature. I don’t have a lot of experience and I am still learning! I am not perfect, but I learn very quickly!    MY SOCIAL SKILLS · With People: I may be shy at first, but I can’t resist eating snacks! Once we become friends, I can be pet and held in your arms!  · With Dogs: I like to say hello and invite my dog friends to play! I get along with all dog friends, but especially with those that are bigger or similar to me in size. I am gentle and therefore avoid conflict when another dog provokes me.  · With Cats: My reaction to cats is unknown but a cat test can be requested to ensure the best fit.    ENERGY LEVEL & ACTIVITY I have moderate energy level – I enjoy my playtime outdoors and I love resting inside as well! I may pull on the leash at times but will follow you where you want to go! I am more comfortable walking in quiet areas, and can get scared on busy streets where there are lots of cars.    TRAINING & HABITS I don’t guard my food from people or dogs. I may bark when I want something or when I see strangers. I am calm when placed in a kennel.   MY IDEAL HOME I’m searching for a patient, loving family who can help me become the best version of myself. I’ll thrive in a home with: A family that will provide me with a safe haven – where I can decompress, be myself in a stable environment A family that understands my past and is patient with me throughout A family that enjoys indoor and outdoor time together A family that will love and cherish me forever   SPECIAL NOTES I may need a bit of time to adapt to the new environment, but I am a quick learner and adapter!
