My story

Hi there! My name is Opal and I am a female domestic shorthair kitten with grey tabby markings, white feet and shoulders and gold eyes. I am a petite girl with soft fur and a cute brown patch on my nose. I am an energetic and curious kitten who likes to investigate new things. I live in my foster home with my sister, Amethyst and an older cat. I am bonded with Amethyst and we both love to play with the older cat. I am affectionate but usually wait for Amethyst to snuggle up with our humans before I join them. I have a good appetite and meow excitedly when it’s mealtime. I take care of my coat and always use my litter box. Amethyst and I are fine on our own when our foster parents go out. I am a confident, friendly and playful kitty who is ready to be adopted into a loving home, along with my sister Amethyst. A note from Opal’s foster dad: “Opal loves to play and she is very sweet with her sister, Amethyst. If you are looking for a pair of bonded kittens who will liven up your home and look after one another, Opal and Amethyst fill the bill. They also interact well with the adult cat in our home.” Opal should be adopted with her sister Amethyst. They would be fine in a home with another cat. Opal needs to be adopted with her sister Amethyst Please bear in mind that it is against Abbey Cat policy to adopt a single kitten under the age of six months to a home without a kitten of similar age for company.

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Opal, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
