My story

Hi, I'm Zeus - a fun-size Shepherd mix (only 60 lbs!) with a big heart! I'm around 3 vears old, street-smart. loyal, and a total gentleman when I feel safe. I walk great on a leash, I'm crate trained, and I get along wonderfully with kids and other dogs. I'm also a sensitive soul who really looks to my person for reassurance Once I trust vou, I'll be your cuddle buddy and your very best boy. Now for my quirky superpower: I'm an escape artist. If I get nervous or curious, I may try to go on an "adventure." and I can scale a 6-foot wall like it's a speed bump. I also get VERY scared during fireworks and thunderstorms - loud booms make me panic, and I've gotten out of crates and even tried to leap out of open windows to get away from the noise. So...I'm looking for a person who understands anxious dogs and will keep me safe, secure, and indoors during storms and fireworks. I do best with calm reassurance, structure, and someone who believes in me. With the right people, I really shine.
