Gretchen

My story

Gretchen's basic bio is below, but we maintain more detailed information about each of our animals on our website, which is also always up to date with animals removed immediately once they are adopted. Please visit Gretchen's page on our site (https://www.muddypawsrescue.org/adoptable?dog=009417) to learn even more about Gretchen! Additionally, please note that the breed listed for Gretchen is just our best guess based on the dog's physical features. We cannot make any guarantees about the accuracy of our guesses. PLEASE NOTE: DUE TO VOLUME, WE ARE GENERALLY UNABLE TO RESPOND TO INQUIRIES MADE USING THE 'ASK ABOUT ME' BUTTON. Please reach out to us directly using the contact information on our website: www.muddypawsrescue.org. Hi, I'm Gretchen! I am a 69-pound lap dog who hasn't quite gotten the memo that I'm not a puppy anymore. My absolute favorite place in the whole world is draped right across my human on the couch, preferably with a belly rub in progress. Don't let my size fool you; I am a total snuggle bug at heart. I originally came into foster care after my first family could no longer care for me. While it took me a little time to settle in, these past few months have been amazing. Now that I know my foster humans are here to stay, I have completely relaxed into my true self. I am a wonderfully goofy, affectionate, and slightly dramatic girl who will happily follow you from room to room just to be near you. My signature move is sleeping flat on my back with all four legs straight up in the air! I am currently working on my excitement around other dogs, as they can make me a bit nervous, so I would do best as the only pup in the home. If you are a patient human who is willing to keep up with my training, I promise to reward you by being the most loyal, couch-warming companion you could ever ask for.

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Gretchen, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
