My story

Rocky may tip the scales at around 99 pounds, but his heart is even bigger. This gentle giant is as sweet as they come, with a calm, loving temperament that makes everyone feel welcome. Rocky truly enjoys meeting new people and greets them with soft eyes and a wagging tail, always ready to make a new friend. He also does wonderfully with other dogs and would be a great companion for a home looking to add a friendly, easygoing presence. Whether he’s enjoying a relaxed stroll or simply hanging out by your side, Rocky brings a steady, comforting energy wherever he goes.If you’re looking for a big, lovable boy with a kind soul and endless affection to give, Rocky is ready to be your new best friend.IN-SHELTER NOTES & IDEAL HOMESIZE:99 lbsHOME TYPE:AnyCHILDREN:Middle aged children - Potentially compatible with middle aged children that have large dog experienceCATS & SMALL ANIMALS:Yes- Cats potentially compatible with slow proper introduction.OTHER DOGS:Yes- Dogs potentially compatible.ACTIVITY/ENERGY LEVEL:High; will need a lot of daily exercise, enrichment and mental stimulation.HUMAN COMPATIBILTY:First time dog owner possible.TRAINING REQUIREMENTS/NEEDS:At least two in-person training sessions to work on socialization, basic training, and manners.HUMAN SOCIAL IN SHELTER:Very human social!
