My story

**Note: Currently, Pipin is in Korea, but will arrive in Toronto on Jan 27, 2026. Background: Pipin is a sweet and gentle boy who was rescued this past summer from a city pound in Milyang. Since then, he has been happily living with other dogs at our boarding house. Personality & Socialization: Pipin has a moderate energy level and a very affectionate nature. He greets new people warmly and soon feels comfortable around them. At first, he may approach slowly and carefully, but once he feels safe, his playful and loving side comes out. He gets along well with other dogs, enjoys gentle play, and steers clear of bossy or dominant dogs. He especially enjoys the company of young, friendly dogs around his size. Behaviours: Pipin enjoys time with other dogs, sometimes playing and sometimes just relaxing. He goes to the bathroom outside but can also use indoor pads if needed. He rides in the car and handles baths well, and he has been very well behaved at the vet. He is still learning leash walking but follows his human’s lead, though he may feel a little nervous in new environments. Health & Diet: When rescued, Pipin was treated for Hepatozoon and is now fully healthy. He is neutered, microchipped, and up to date on vaccinations. He is dewormed and receives monthly parasite prevention. Pipin is healthy, maintains a balanced weight, eats dry food twice a day, and has no known allergies. Ideal Home: Pipin has been wonderful with us. He is friendly, curious, and sociable. He would do well in a family looking for a second dog or even with a first time dog parent. Ideally, his new family would work from home or be retired so he is not left alone for long periods. A patient loving person ready to welcome this sweet boy into their life would be perfect. Apply to become his family through link below: https://www.freekoreandogs.org/dog/pipin/

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Pipin, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
