My story

Hi there, future family! My name is Deanna, and I’ve been waiting for YOU to find me! I’m a sweet, spunky little lady with a big heart and an even bigger zest for life. If you’re looking for a loyal companion who will keep you smiling every single day, then look no further—I’m your girl! Let me tell you a little about myself. I’m about 20–25 pounds of pure joy, the perfect size for snuggles on the couch but still ready to romp and play outside. My short, sleek coat means low-maintenance grooming—no fancy spa days required (unless you want to spoil me, of course!). I’m probably a mix of Jack Russell Terrier and German Shorthaired Pointer, which means I’ve got brains, energy, and charm all rolled into one adorable package. Want to know for sure? A DNA test could solve the mystery, but honestly, I think my personality speaks for itself! I’m spayed, vaccinated, and microchipped, so I’m healthy, safe, and ready to start my new adventure with you. No more getting lost—once I’m yours, I’m yours forever! Now, let’s talk about what makes me special. First of all, I LOVE kids. Seriously, they’re the best! I’m gentle, patient, and always up for a game of fetch or a cuddle session. I also adore playing with toys—squeaky ones, bouncy ones, you name it! And when it’s time to stretch my legs, I’m all about running and romping with my doggy friends. At the rescue, I share my kennel with other little pups, and we have the best time together. So if you already have a dog at home, I’d probably fit right in! You might be wondering how I ended up here. Honestly? I have no idea! I was found at the pound in Yuma, and nobody came to claim me. But don’t feel sad—I see it as a second chance. Now I’m at Central Arizona Animal Rescue, and I know my perfect family is out there looking for me. Maybe it’s you? Here’s what I’m dreaming of: a cozy home where I can be part of the family, go on walks, play in the yard, and snuggle up at night. I’m not just a dog—I’m a best friend, a confidant, and a little ray of sunshine who will brighten your days. So, what do you say? Are you ready to meet me? I promise, when you look into my eyes and see my happy tail wagging, you’ll know it was meant to be. Email mike@caaronline.org to set up an appointment. Let’s make this happen—I’ve got so much love to give, and I can’t wait to share it with you! Come on, future family… I’m waiting! Love and tail wags, Deanna   PLEASE e-mail (do not call) mike@caaronline.org for more information and to set up an appointment to adopt. Do not e-mail us with a request to call you, if you have a question, please ask in the e-mail.   All dogs are adopted on a first come - first served basis.
